We’re very happy to announce that one of our Team members of the LMU in Munich has been awarded the Gustav-Hertz Preis of the German Society of Physics (DPG).
The award is given annually to young newcomer physicists in Experimental or Theoretical physics.
Benedict has been rewarded for his excellent contributions to the characterization of the Thorium 229 isomer especially the first ever direct and precise determination of the stimulation energy of the isomer as a fundamental basis to develop a Thorium Nuclear Clock.
Congratulations Benedict!!!
