In August 2020 Kevin Scharl started working as a phd student at the LMU with our team in Munich.
Here are a few words from Kevin:
Hi there, I am the new one! My name is Kevin Scharl from Buchloe (70
kms away from Munich), 24 years old and very happy to participate in
the Thorium Nuclear Clock research project as a PhD student in the LMU
team of Peter Thirolf. In the upcoming months, my task will be to
build up a setup for sympathetic laser cooling of Thorium-229 with
Strontium-88 ions in order to measure the ionic lifetime of the
Thorium isomer. I am looking forward for the collaboration with you
all and hope to get to know you better before long.
Best wishes!
Welcome Kevin!

I consider, that you are not right. Let’s discuss. Write to me in PM, we will talk.
I think, that you commit an error. I can prove it. Write to me in PM, we will discuss.
Certainly. And I have faced it.
Between us speaking, I would go another by.
Bravo, fantasy))))
