Our Team at the LMU in Munich has welcomed a new postdoc to work on this project.

“Hi there, my name is Daniel Moritz and I joined the Thorium Nuclear 
Clock project as PhD student in the group of Peter Thirolf at the LMU. 
Previously, I commissioned and characterized the ion-guide system for 
the nuclear clock setup at LMU in the course of my Master thesis. My 
tasks will now be the investigation of the lifetime of the Thorium-229 
isomer on various surfaces as well as the further characterization of 
the ion-guide system.
I am looking forward to participate in this collaboration.”
