Our Team in Vienna is growing and growing. recently PhD student Martin Pressler has joined our team.

I am excited to join Thorsten Schumm’s group at the Atominstitut in Vienna as a PhD Student and to be part of the Thorium nuclear clock project.
As a trained chemist i will contribute to the radiochemical part of the project including radioisotope production and purification as well as target preparation and (radio-)chemical characterization.
I am looking forward to work on this interdisciplinary and fascinating topic.
