Peter Thirolf (LMU Munich), Benedict Seiferle (LMU Munich)  and Lars von der Wense (ILA, University of Colorado Boulder, US.)  have been featured in an article of the CERNcourier.

They described how recent progress in understanding thorium’s nuclear structure, and new upcoming results, could enable an ultra-accurate nuclear clock with applications in fundamental physics.
